Mardirous Kouljan

received his first guitar lessons in Aleppo and Yerevan. He then qualified as a bass guitarist and sound engineer and successfully passed his final exam as a guitar (and electric bass) teacher. He initially worked as a music teacher in Armenia, and after relocating there in 2007, he taught at music schools in Germany.

As a musician in various bands he has performed in Europe, South America and the Middle East, including five years as bassist in "Maja&the boys".

Since February 2025 he has been teaching at the Büdingen Music and Art School.
