Instruction
The MuKS offers various forms of teaching.
In the music department, these are usually individual lessons or group lessons with 2-4 participants.
Art classes are offered only as age-related group classes
Holiday games
Holiday games are an additional offer of the MuKS, independent of lessons, usually in cooperation with the city of Büdingen
Ensembles
Ensembles are groups such as bands, the preparatory orchestra 4strings4kids, the children's choirs, the samba band, the choirs, the chamber orchestra, or subject-related groups such as guitar ensembles or brass ensembles
Instrument carousel
The instrument carousel is the first introduction to instrumental lessons and is interesting for children who want to get to know and try out instruments.
A course lasts half a school year and includes 4-6 weeks of instruction on one of four different instruments. After these weeks, students move on to the next instrument.
e.g. 4 weeks guitar, four weeks drums, five weeks violin, etc.
Class recitals
Class recitals are small subject-related concerts by students of one or more teachers. These give all students the opportunity to perform in front of each other within the scope of their abilities and to learn from each other.
Cooperations
MuKS works in various forms of collaboration with other schools and institutions. Many collaborative projects are supported by state or federal funds.
