Early musical education

Elementary music experience for everyone

interactive - integrative - intercultural

under this motto, from 2025 onwards, all

municipal daycare centers in Büdingen offer an MuKS service.

The project is made possible by the nationwide program

Inter-institutional events

In children's everyday lives, music is usually paired with the joy of movement and rhythm. The physical perception of music is a fundamental factor in developing an affinity for music. Through music, as a universal language, children connect with themselves, other children, and people around them. In musical experience spaces, they should have individual, basic experiences with musical elements, preferably rhythmic experiences and movements, as well as with tones and sounds.

Planned are a joint performance by all MfE groups, a performance at the respective daycare center, and a visit to the music and art school with a children's concert and instrument presentation.

For the

2025

2nd round of the project: Culture makes you strong

For the second time, thanks to the cooperation between the city of Büdingen, the music and art school, and the volunteer agency, early musical education is being offered in all Ü3 daycare centers.

With the receipt of the funding commitment from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in cooperation with the Association of German Music Schools, it was clear that the courses could be offered free of charge for one group of preschool children each.

The free offer is intended to give children, in particular those who do not already receive musical support in their families, access to experience music before they start primary school.

Everyone involved is proud of this new educational offering in Büdingen and is looking forward to the groups' joint projects, such as our concert on June 14th, followed by an instrument presentation.
