Rauher Berg eV

The Rockers from Rauher Berg are a cooperative effort between the Büdingen Music and Art School and the Rauher Berg Home and Workshops in Gelnhaar. The association provides space for the rock/pop ensemble and assigns a coach to play with the band, who also serves as a coach within the band.
With the start of funding from the VdM (Association of German Music Schools) in 2009, the teaching hours were extended, the repertoire expanded, and performances, which had previously been limited almost exclusively to events at the Rauher Berg Association of Musicians and Workshops for People in Need of Spiritual Care, were expanded to include the region. Lessons are held weekly during school term time, and if necessary during vacations—for example, when performances are scheduled—for an entire year.
Thomas Appel has led the ensemble since 2006
Citizens' Forum Stone House

An association whose members support the MuKS in a variety of ways. Since 2022, there has been a joint event called "Blossoms, Sound, and Choral Singing " in the Kölsch Garden.
Volunteer Agency Büdingen eV
The Volunteer Agency is our third alliance partner in the "Culture Makes You Strong" project, which enables us to offer early musical education in daycare centers.
