Benedict Bach
took over the management of the Büdingen Music and Art School in September 2019.
Previously, he worked for over 20 years at the Bad Vilbel Music School as a violin teacher, voice trainer, head of the voice and string departments, and as a choir director.
After completing his schooling and attending the "musical boarding school" in Hadamar, he studied violin at the State University of Music in Heidelberg-Mannheim and graduated with diplomas in "orchestral music" and "instrumental pedagogy."
In addition to his teaching activities, he has acquired the qualification to lead a VdM music school through many advanced training courses and seminars.
As a violinist, he has performed in various orchestras (including the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt) and in productions (Bad Vilbel Castle Festival, The English Theatre Frankfurt, and the Bad Hersfeld Festival). As a choir director, he has also performed larger works on a project basis (e.g., The Creation, the Christmas Oratorio, Carmina Burana, The Song of the Bell, and MisaTango).
