

Frank Preisser
received his first musical training from 1973-83 at the Windsbach Boys' Choir boarding school. After graduating from high school, he studied "Artistic Training/Concert Singing" at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main with Prof. Gunnel Tasch-Ohlsson (vocals) and Klaus Dreier (piano), in the song and chamber music classes of Prof. Rainer Hoffmann and Prof. Charles Spencer, and in the oratorio class of Prof. Rolf Reinhard.
Frank Preißer has been a vocal instructor at the Büdingen Music and Art School since 1993. He served as head of the vocal department there from 2002 to 2017. He founded the Büdingen Vocal Week and the Bel Aria Vocal Ensemble. He leads various workshops and vocal courses.
In addition to his work as a singing teacher, he is also regularly active in the oratorio field at home and abroad, including with the Stuttgart Chamber Choir, the Darmstadt Concert Choir, the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra, the Kurpfälzisches Chamber Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Halle Chamber Orchestra, the Frankfurt Bachkollegium, the Rhein-Main Chamber Philharmonic and other well-known orchestras.
He has also participated in various opera productions with independent ensembles and as a chamber musician with various song programs, including "Organ and Tenor" and old Italian arias.
