Lada Nevmyatullina
She began her musical studies at the municipal music school in Nizhny Novgorod at the age of three. At 18, she completed her first piano studies with honors at the music college in her hometown.
She then continued her studies as a pianist (class of Prof. M. Takeda-Herms) and organist (class of G. Dessauer) at the University of Music of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. She attended master classes with Prof. Kasama (Japan), among others. As a soloist, she gave several concerts in Russia, Germany, and France. She participated in the International Rachmaninoff Piano Competition in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and in numerous piano competitions in Russia.
In 2016, she was awarded a scholarship from the "Young Talents" Foundation of the Mainz Academy of Sciences and Literature.
In addition to classical, sacred, and baroque music, her repertoire also includes contemporary jazz and bossa nova. Her preference for a very personal interpretation of classical works became apparent during her time at music school, leading to the creation of countless original arrangements, including jazz, rock, and chillout versions for two pianos or a full band. With her project "ArtPiano: Classical meets Jazz," she participated in the "Lille Piano(s) Festival" in France, performing with jazz pianist Swantje Rietz on two grand pianos.
