

Simon Ullmann (cello)
Born in Würzburg, after graduating from high school, he initially studied at the University of Music in his hometown. In 1997, he transferred to the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt, where he completed his studies in 2002. He attended various master classes with Prof. X. Jankovic, G. Schiefen, and Prof. G. Mantel, and took chamber music lessons with Prof. G. Zhislin and members of the Bartholdy Quartet. For some time now, he has devoted himself to historical interpretation and the baroque cello. Simon Ullmann has been teaching at the Büdingen Music and Art School since 2002, and since 2016 also at the Nidderau-Schöneck and Bad Nauheim Music Schools. He plays regularly with the Bad Nauheim Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra and performs primarily in chamber music works with a wide variety of ensembles.
